More Drugs Being Found In Idaho

By Paul Johnson

Idaho Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - Drug busts are on the rise in Eastern Idaho.
State police seized more than 70-pounds of marijuana this past week alone from drug busts along I-86 near American Falls.
ISP and the Power County sheriff's office all say interstate-86 is one of the only corridors, that main link connecting the surrounding states who have the plant more readily available.
Officials say a lot of people come from states who've recently legalized the use of marijuana such as Oregon, Washington, and California and distributing to states such as the Dakotas.
Some even come from Mexico and have to drive through Idaho to get to canada.
