Hagerman, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) – Work to complete bridge maintenance and resurfacing will impact traffic on U.S. 30 as it crosses the Snake River. The Idaho Transportation Department is warning drivers to expect short delays and restrictions at Gridley Bridge on the Twin Falls/Gooding county line for about three months.

The project, expected to begin Monday March 3, will complete several maintenance items including concrete patching, painting the bridge rail, and roadway resurfacing. The maintenance project will protect against cracking and corrosion, restore the surface strength and skid resistance, and improve lifespan of the bridge deck.

While half the bridge is replaced, the roadway may be reduced to one lane and controlled by a temporary traffic signal. A 35-mph speed limit and an 11-foot width restriction will be in effect during construction.
