Over 200 Parents So Far Respond to Give Hailey Schools A Grade
Hailey, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - The Blaine County School District is inviting parents to provide feedback on individual schools within the district. A site-level Parent Climate Survey opened on Monday, March 10 and closes on Friday, March 21. The survey covers issues such as academic preparation, student support, parent engagement, school operations and accessibility of school leaders, among other topics.
Over 200 parents completed the survey electronically in the first two days after the survey launched. Communications Director Heather Crocker says, “The more people who respond, the better understanding we have of what we are doing well and what improvements can be made in our schools. We encourage parents to take the time to complete the survey and give us their honest feedback.”
The district is working with independent research and survey firm K12 Insight. All survey responses are strictly confidential.
All parents who have provided current email addresses were sent an email invitation to participate. Those parents who do not receive an email invitation may access the survey via the district website at www.blaineschools.org and look for the Your Voice tab on the left-hand side of the website.
Any parent without access to the internet can request a paper survey at the front desk of their child’s school. The survey will also be available in Spanish. The goal is to ensure widespread participation and feedback.
