The Gooding county jail has been in the spotlight and now they have more problems to add to their list.
According to Gooding County Sheriff Shaun Gough a jail deputy has been fired for sneaking a visitor into a room after visiting hours two weeks ago.
Gough says the encounter occurred in a visiting area that is normally under surveillance but he says the lights were off.
Gough has not released the name of the deputy but says this now leaves the department three jail employees short.
One of their other jail employees is currently on administrative leave after an inmate escaped the jail not only once but three times.
