Ketchum, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) – The Idaho Fish and Game say a $5,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the conviction of the person or persons responsible for the shooting and waste of a doe deer off the Lake Creek Road in the Wood River Valley.
The reward is being offered by the Humane Society of the United States and Humane Society Wildlife Land Trust.
Idaho Department of Fish and Game Officers began the investigation of this case the second week in June, when a doe mule deer and the remains of two fawns were found three quarters of a mile north of Lake Creek Lake in a popular camping area. Evidence was collected at the scene.
Officers believe the incident happened on June 11 or 12, and are hoping to get the help of the public to solve this case.
People with information, leading to a conviction on these or other crimes are also eligible for a reward through Citizens Against Poaching and callers can remain anonymous for both rewards. People can either contact CAP at 1-800-632-5999 twenty four hours a day, or call the Fish and Game Regional Office at 208-324-4359.
