Winds fueled South Barker Fire

Winds have fueled another fire burning near Featherville, north of Fairfield.

The South Barker Fire grew another 2500 acres due to high winds and a drop in relative humidity.

It is now a little more than 16,400 acres. The fire is moving in a northeasterly direction and is moving through timber.

Crews are working to keep it east of the Boise Forest and north of the south fork of the Boise River.
