Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) The 28th annual Festival of Trees is just about 3 weeks away and you still have time to get involved.
Over the past 28 years Saint Luke's Hospital along with many organizations from across the Magic Valley have made this Christmas time Fundraiser one of the best in Southern Idaho.
Each year businesses, organizations, clubs and even schools take their time to decorate either a full sized tree and miniature tree or even wreaths that will be then sold off to the highest bidder.
"Festival of Trees this year is being held at the historic Ballroom in Downtown. Were setting up on the 4th and 5th and were going to kick it off with our gala on the 6th and then the lighting of the festival trees. And then we have an open exhibition from the 7th trough the 9th." Said Terry Rowe, Events Coordinator for Saint Lukes Magic Valley Hospital.
All of the money raised from this year's festival will go to help build a brand new $500,000 helicopter hanger at the hospital.
If you or your business would like to sponsor and decorate a tree or wreath, or if you would like to just help volunteer, you can contact Saint Luke's at 208–814–0070 and just ask to speak with a representative for the Festival of Trees.
