Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Raising awareness for autism was the name of the game in Twin Falls Saturday.
The two–mile walk kicked off early in the morning at St. Luke's Magic Valley.
Children who are under 12 years old with autism were free with a registered adult.
All proceeds benefit the Magic Valley Health Foundation.
"The autism awareness walk started with a group of parents that are part of our Twin Falls, Idaho autism parents support group and they wanted to bring more awareness to the Magic Valley," explains Amy Starr, a speech pathologist.
The parents support group meets the first Tuesday every month at St. Luke's Magic Valley and is open to the public.
