Biggest Job Cut In More Than 30 Years

The State Department of Labor says there were more than 15-hundred fewer people working in Idaho last month when compared to a year ago in September.
The agency also reports that the jobless rate in Idaho grew to 5 percent from august to September for the highest unemployment rate since January 2004.
Less than 722,000 people in Idaho had jobs last month as every county in the state reported increases in unemployment.
Idaho employers also made the biggest cut in jobs in more than 30 years during the one-month period that began in august and ended in September.
The state department of labor says the last time Idaho jobs went on the decline from august to September was in 1978.
