On October 2nd what seemed like a normal day of going to visit her daughter in Jackpot – Barbara Enoch was in for a surprise when she returned back home to Hollister.
She was only home for a short time cooking dinner when her daughter smelled something burning.
Enoch says "we went throughout the whole trailer to find if it was in here. she went out the back door of the trailer and went around the front and said there was a fire on the porch. We went across the road and watched the fire take off like a bullet. By the time the firefighters got here, the flames were through my living room roof and it's pretty sad, thank god we had insurance."
fire officials say cause of the fire was electrical.
Enoch says they lost pretty much everything from the living room, kitchen and bedrooms.
"we don't know whether we want to build on our lot, or sell it, we got the option."
