What Neighbors Say About Allegations Of Prosititution At A Local Business

By Brittany Cooper

Two women were arrested earlier in the week for prostitution here in Twin Falls.
According to Twin Falls county sheriff's office - the women were working out of Osaka massage parlor on Addison avenue.
57-year old Sun Do Chong and 46-year old Myeong Sook Mickley face charges of prostitution.
Chong faces two counts while Mickley faces one count.
Officers say the investigation began from an anonymous tip from a citizen.
Matthew Eden says, "So far the evidence is showing they're a fairly lucrative business, they have been operating for quite some time. This kind of a crime reaches all kinds of people in this community. what it brings into this community is std's, disease, that are passed onto partners from people who are using these facilities which makes this a very serious crime."
Neighbors who live in the area kept a close eye on the business for about three years.
Gene Jess says, "A reputable massage parlor does not stay open until 10:30, 11 at night."
An unknown neighbor says, "It was the same clientele all the time. they would go in and there were times that my husband and I would laugh about it, it would be 15 minutes, they would be 15 minutes and then come out."
A Neighbor also says, "There would be on a good day, 30-50 guys going in and out of there."
Eden says that the last case of prostitution in Twin Falls County was about a year ago but was not as serious as this case.
