Emergency crews were called out to mile marker 209 on Interstate 84 at the 500 West over-pass.

No official word yet on exactly what happened, but it appears some large equipment on a flat bed tractor trailer struck the 500 West over-pass.

No word on how many vehicles may have been involved or if anyone was hurt.

When our camera's arrived, state crews were working on a gash in the over-pass.

The west bound traffic was restricted to one lane and vehicles were backed up for about a mile; access to 500 West has also restricted by road closure signs.

We have yet to hear from Idaho State Police on this incident, but we will bring you the latest on this story as it becomes available.
