By KMVT Staff

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) For the third year in a row, police officers spent the evening at the Policeman's Ball.

The event held at Canyon Crest, will support law enforcement families in times of need, all through the Police Officer's Assistance Fund.

"Basically three years aso, we re–started the idea of the policeman's ball. We've done this, it's a charitable event, we use it to raise money for our lodge, ultimately our Officers Assistance Fund. And along with that we also sponsor another charitable organization within the community, and the last two years, we've chosen Camp Rainbow Gold," says J.P. O'Donnell, President, Twin Falsl Police FOP Lodge 22.

Organizers sold approximately 300 tickets. It takes a committee about five to six months to make it successful and the event has grown since its inception.
