The names of the four officers involved in Tuesday nights fatal shooting at the Dunes Motel on Addison Avenue West have been released. Now three more officers than originally announced have been placed on administrative leave as well.
According to a release by Captain Matt Hicks, the officers involved in the shooting are Police Officers Tim Arredondo, Dave Frick, Nathan Silvester and Detective Dan Clements.
Hicks says three additional officers who were present during the incident, but are not believed to be involved in the shooting have also been place on administrative leave,
Those include Sergeant Charles Garner, Detective Ken Rivers, and Police Officer Dusty Solomon.
Idaho State Police have been appointed to investigate the shooting which left 20 year old Randy Holler Junior dead. Holler was among those on the Twin Falls County most wanted list for a probation violation connected to grand theft.
Idaho State Police say nearly a half a dozen were fired although the exact number and by whom is not know at this time.
Meanwhile, a candlelight vigil was held at the Dunes Motel Thursday night, by friends and family; with nearly 100 people in attendance. Many of the attendees are calling Tuesday's fatal shooting 'unjust.'
Holler is survived by his parents, wife, and two small children; a memorial service is planned for the beginning of next week.
