Officials are still investigating a shooting which critically injured one person yesterday morning north of Shoshone.

Lincoln County Sheriff officials responded to the scene at around 9:30 am and one person had to be air lifted to a hospital in Boise.

The case has been handed over to the Lincoln County Prosecutor’s office, who is releasing very few details at this time.

A local real estate office in Shoshone says their owner was flown to a Boise hospital yesterday morning, but they didn't know why.

A spokesperson for St. Al's says they have a patient matching the owners name and he was listed in critical condition. However officials have not confirmed if this is connected to the shooting incident.

Idaho State Police were called to assist with building a scale diagram of the scene. Officials aren't saying if anyone else was involved in the incident.
