Substitute teacher wants to change plea in sex abuse case

According to court records a former Twin Falls School District substitute teacher and volunteer volleyball coach has requested to change his plea to guilty.

23-year old William Arthur Stevens is charged with two counts of sexual abuse of a child under 16 and four counts of lewd conduct with a child under 16.

All the charges are believed to involve a 15-year old boy.

Stevens is a 2004 graduate of Twin Falls High School. Stevens is set to appear before Fifth District Judge Randy Stoker on April 20th to change his plea to guilty.
