A former Castleford native is making it big on network T.V. as a vet and now author.
Dr. Marty Becker is in Twin this weekend, promoting and autographing his two new books at Barnes and Noble. Becker was born in Castleford and worked in Twin Falls as a vet for 16 years. After ten years he's made it back to visit friends and family and to share pet stories. "There's only one pet in the world and every family has it, and we all love our pets as people just come by and visit my pet, they'll realize why I'm so crazy about,” says Becker. Dr. Becker says the most important thing you can do for your pet is to give them exercise. Dr. Becker appears on a morning show on another network and will soon have a series on PBS.
