A Jerome woman has been arrested by the Twin Falls Police for passing counterfeit currency.

24 year old Jonna Cheyenne Monge is currently being held in the Twin Falls County Jail while the U.S. Secret Service continues to investigate her alleged attempts to pass five dollar bills altered to appear as 100 dollars bills.

When Monge was arrested, police recovered 14 bogus bills. The number of bills recovered in Jerome amounted to a few thousand dollars worth, had they actually been 100 dollar bills.
