Ketchum Bank Closes Its Doors

U.S. Bancorp has acquired about 225 million dollars worth of deposits previously held by First Bank of Idaho, which was shut down by regulators last night.
According to the associated press the Ketchum based bank was closed by the office of thrift supervision.
And the federal deposit insurance corporation took control of its deposits.
The FDIC said first bank of Idaho had more than 488 million dollar in assets and 374 million dollars in deposits as of December 31st.
U.S. Bancorp said it will take control of seven company branches located in central Idaho and the Teton region.
Officials say All Seven Offices will re-open on monday as branches of U.S. Bank.
