Stinker Station near Heyburn robbed at gunpoint

Minidoka County Sheriff officials are currently investigating an armed robbery that happened just after, Thursday morning.

According to Vic Watson with the sheriffs department, officers responded to the stinker station at 316 south hwy 24 near Heyburn. Officials say a male in the store, walked up to the counter and pointed a black semi auto pistol at clerk.

Officers say 3 cartons of cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of cash were taken. The incident was not captured on their surveillance systems and officers aren't sure if the system malfunctioned or if it was operator error.

The suspect is being described as a 5’5”, male about 275 pounds.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black beanie that covered his face; if you have information call 434-2320.
