Kimberly police and fire units were called out early this morning for a structure fire that turned out to be deadly. At around 5am the Rock Creek Fire Department and Kimberly Police Department responded to a structure fire located at 820 Monroe Street.

What fire officials and police discovered, was a body of a male in the basement of the home; and at this time police are releasing little information. Idaho State Police Along With the Twin Falls Police Department and Idaho State Fire Marshall were called to assist in the investigation.

There is no apparent damage to the structure of the house and officials have not indicated the cause of the death; at this time the name of the victim is being withheld while authorities contact family members.

Off camera some neighbors said who ever was living there hadn't been there very long. We will continue to follow this story and bring you any new information.
