The road to the prestigious Westminster Dog Show runs right through the Twin Falls County Fairgrounds in Filer.

This is the first of two days of all breed and obedience dog shows hosted by the Snake River Canyon Kennel Club.

Over 100 different breeds of dogs are being judged on presentation and obedience; the show runs through tomorrow.

Admission is free, and the public is welcome to watch, but you're asked to leave your own pooch at home since only dogs entered into the show are allowed in or near the judging rings.
