Urban Renewal meets to correct errors and revote possible purchase

The Twin Falls Urban Renewal Agency held a special meeting this afternoon to correct some mistakes regarding votes they held yesterday.

Urban renewal usually posts its agendas, meetings, and finance reports on the city's web page. Executive Director Melinda Anderson says the agency is in the process of hiring a new executive assistant, who usually takes care of doing that.

But it turns out that the agendas for May and June meetings hadn't been posted. So to insure urban renewal would be in compliance with Idaho’s open meeting laws.

They met again to vote on possibly buying the old Kruzer's Night Life property at 121 Fourth Avenue South in Twin Falls, as well as buying two urban renewal signs totaling just over 500 dollars to post at the Jayco Industrial Park.
