Wendell woman wins Idaho Lottery windfall

BOISE, Idaho (AP) _ A southern Idaho woman has won $100,000 in
the Idaho Lottery.

Gloria Orth, of Wendell, was selected as the ``World Poker
Tour'' second-chance draw winner.

Orth, who plans to pay off her car, take care of a few bills and
invest the rest of her winnings, has won three times since late
2008, winning a set of poker chips in October, then $2,000 in cash
in May.

Players Twin Falls been lucky, of late. Before Orth won her latest windfall, Mary Murray won the World Poker Tour game's first $100,000 prize in May.

And a Buhl family won a $1 million raffle ticket in January.

David Workman, the Idaho Lottery spokesman, says ``ten players
from the greater Magic Valley area have claimed $1.56 million in
top game prizes'' in 2009.
