Victim identified in last nights possible drowning near Bell Rapids

Authorities have identified the swimmer who went missing in the Bell Rapids access area of the Snake River as Zachary Baird, 19, of Castleford.

Gooding County sheriff's deputies and members of the Twin Falls
County Sheriff's Department Search and Rescue team are still
searching for signs of the teen, who is presumed drowned.

Twin Falls County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Lori Stewart
said emergency workers were called to the scene after a young man
swam out to a floating buoy and called in distress before going
underwater.
