Twin Falls man bound over to court on aggravated assault charges

A 31-year old Twin Falls man has waived his right to a preliminary hearing and been bound over to district court for arraignment on one charge of aggravated assault.

Michael C. Jones allegedly threatened a law enforcement officer with a knife. A police report shows Jones also asked the patrolman to shoot him.

Jones was scheduled to be arraigned this week, but that has now been pushed back to July 27th.
