Yesterday we told you about a seven year old girl who was suspected to have drowned in the Shoshone City Park's Little Wood River.

According to Shoshone Police Chief Jon Daubner, Aracely Diaz fell into the river around 4 p.m. yesterday. She had gone there with her mother and brother.

The girl went down to the shore and jumped into the water and immediately began to struggle, and then disappeared.

Rescue teams from the Gooding Fire Dept. As well as dive teams from Cassia and Twin Falls County Sheriff's Offices assisted, and they searched the river until around 10 p.m.

The search resumed at 7 this morning and the girl's body was recovered at around 11:30 a.m. Daubner says this accident serves as reminder of the dangers of Idaho waterways
