GLBT Community Center becomes member of Twin Falls Chamber

The Southern Idaho 'Gay Lesbian Bisexual And Transgender Community Center' became the newest member of The Twin Falls Area Chamber Of Commerce Thursday.

The group's president says they want to reach the business community with their message; and better promote the center to people who are interested in it.

James Tidmarsh, President of GLBT Community Center says, “So we started it, and it's grown out of just around somebody's kitchen table to about 300 people on our e-mailing list. And we work to promote GLBT issues in the Magic Valley.

Tidmarsh says his is the first organization of its kind in Idaho to join a chamber of commerce.
