Three months ago, David Nunn III, 19, was charged with one count of rape. Police say the assault took place in the 400 block of Washington Street South, on March 15th. Nunn also faces two counts of criminal conspiracy, and two counts of 'forcible sexual penetration using a foreign object.'

Tuesday Nunn pled guilty to two of the five charges. He said he used a small baseball bat in the act of rape and also said he was guilty of one count of conspiracy in the case.

As part of the plea bargain, Nunn will also testify against his codefendant, Brandy Earl Admire, 38, who is charged with aiding and abetting rape. Admire's trial is still set to begin at 9am July 28th, while Nunn will be sentenced at 3pm on September 8th.

In other court news, after first pleading guilty and then not guilty, a Magic Valley man has again changed his plea back to guilty and will be sentenced later this month.

Keith Allen Gentry, 59, of Hazelton was pulled over on Highway 93 south of Twin Falls in late January. Law enforcement officers claim they found nine pounds of marijuana stashed in the vehicle. Gentry faces one charge of drug trafficking

In another local drug related case, a Twin Falls man has pled not guilty after earlier being bound over to Fifth District Court. Brent L. Rasmussen, 44, is charged with drug trafficking and possession of a controlled substance.

Police claim to have found 144 marijuana plants weighing a total of 45 pounds at Rasmussen’s home on Washington Street South. Court records show a Twin Falls Police Officer describing it as the largest indoor marijuana growing operation he'd ever seen.
