Computer giant Dell Incorporated, which runs a phone service center in Twin Falls say the personal computer market has reached its low point, and they say its anyone’s guess when there will be a global turnaround.

Despite what are expected to be slightly stronger sales in the current quarter, Dell executives say conditions that have hurt the pc industry aren't easing. Businesses have clamped down on technology purchases and put off buying new computers as the economic crisis persists.

Late last year officials with dell confirmed there had been some layoffs at their company's customer call center in Twin Falls, but they wouldn't say how many workers had been let go. It’s believed Dell's facility on Pole Line Road employs between 600 and 700 people.
