A memorial has been set up along 4000 north where a bicyclist was struck and killed in June, very close to where this week’s accident took place.

A memorial in the form of a bicycle marks the spot where 57 year old David Webster was hit by a motorist. The bike is called a ghost bike and has short messages written on it.

Webster was riding his bike the evening of June 25th when a motorist was trying to pass another vehicle and hit him.

This Saturday, several bike groups will hold an awareness ride starting at the Twin Falls City Park at 4pm. The ride will proceed up to Blue Lakes and turn left on Falls and head towards Washington; then it will continue on down towards 2nd and end where they started at the park. More than 100 riders are expected to attend.
