Tears of the Patriots held a rally in front of the Twin Falls County Courthouse to promote freedom of speech.

Each person had five minutes to speak about their thoughts on the direction of the country -issues - federal spending and much more.

Organizers invited representatives and senators and county commissioners to come to the event. Three representatives from Districts 23 and 24 came to listen and address the crowd.

District 23 Republican Jim Patrick said, "As you can tell, there's going to be a lot of changes in state government. The lines been drawn in the sand; we have two choices, you could cut agencies, make government smaller or raise taxes and I'm not for raising taxes, so you know where I'm at."

Dozens of people of all ages came to the event.
