Today thousands of people gathered in the Twin Falls city park for the 3rd annual South Central Community Action Partnership event.
The partnership provides services to low-income families throughout the Magic Valley.
And today, about 80 community partners set up booths to provide information to the public.

CEO Ken Robinette said, "It’s about providing information about financial assistance, affordable housing, we have programs set up here for senior citizens, disabled, and veterans, and a lot of programs for kids."

And officials want people to know, this isn't just something for Twin Falls.

Board Chairman Jim Kern said, "It's not just limited to Twin Falls. This agency extends to the mini-cassia area, the wood river valley area, the north side counties, it's just such a great event for everybody to be a participant of."

And along with all the information, patrons were also treated to a free lunch. An estimated 5,000 people came to this event.
Officials say they hope next year's event will be even bigger.
