5K Raises Money for Wounded Veterans
Kimberly, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Dozens took to the streets today to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project.
5K the Warrior Way took place this morning in Kimberly. About thirty participants signed up for the little over three mile trek, which ran simultaneously with an 8k taking race at Manas Air Force Base in Kurdistan. The Wounded Warrior Project helps injured service members by providing unique, direct programs and service to meet their needs. "I just think it’s really important that we help our fellow service men and women out and try and get them as much help as they need." The Idaho National Guard also set up an obstacle course for the kids.
