Five Children Killed After Vehicle Slides Off Road

A car carrying five children on their way to school in Emmett slid off an icy highway into a pond Tuesday morning, killing all of them.
Divers found the vehicle in about 20 feet of water with the children still trapped inside.
Fifteen-year-old driver Brooke Probst and her 12-year-old brother Brandt died.
Also killed were three members of another family: 15-year-old Megan Walker, and her two brothers, 14-year-old Tyler and 12-year-old Kyle.
The children all lived in Sweet, an unincorporated area along state Highway 52 about 16 miles northeast of Emmett.
The accident site, north of Black Canyon Dam, is about 30 miles north of Boise
