One Twin Falls family now has a new home to move into.
Habitat for Humanity dedicated its first home of the year to Terri and Harvey Overlin.
The home is located near downtown Twin Falls. Lowe's helped out the family with a $5,000.00 gift card to help remodel the home. And the family got a huge surprise when they found out the panty had been stocked for them.
Grocery Outlet official Craig Hawkins said, "We went shopping, we found out a little bit about them. So went through our store. We bought them a toaster, silverware, plates and dishes, and the canned goods, and the bread and jam and peanut butter and soups, and we didn't get them the perishables, because we didn't know what they could eat and not eat, so we gave them a gift certificate for $100.00 for that."
The Overlin couple has been married almost 20 years, and have always rented. This is the first home they can call their own.
