Idaho State Police are investigating a 2-vehicle accident which happened around 8 Monday morning southeast of Burley.

Dennis Crane, 60, of Burley was driving a truck that was turning left into a feedlot along the 250 east road. According to ISP, at the same time, Julio Rodriquez, 44, of Rupert attempted to pass on a motorcycle but apparently lost control and slid into the left rear tire of the truck.

Rodriguez received extensive injuries, was first taken to Cassia Memorial Hospital, and was later flown to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.
