The economy has fallen like leaves on the trees, leaving many people's wallet's sparse like a barren branch. It's affecting people nation-wide, including those here in twin falls.

Twin Falls Mayor Lance Clow Has decided to tackle the issue of the economy, by holding a special meeting.

Clow says, "We've held town hall meetings a lot in the last couple of years, focusing on the downtown area, but with the economy the way it is, I thought this was an opportunity to broaden the scope - make a statement that we are out there, we're working and we care and we're trying to do the best we can to find jobs, to create jobs, and retain jobs in the community"

A variety of officials will attend this meeting, to be held Thursday at 7pm, at the city council chambers. Different speakers from departments around the city will let job seekers know what services can be offered to help them in the job search.

The mayor says this meeting will be for a variety of people, in a variety of different stages of life.

Clow says, "You could be an individual who's unemployed, you could be someone who's just out of school looking for a job, you could be someone looking to re-train, go back to school, you could be a small business owner looking for help."
