Bugle CallTwin Falls
The sound of a bugle filled the air this afternoon at the Twin Falls City Park.
The sons of Knute played the drum and 16 different bugle calls for a post–veterans day concert. Along with the music, they gave the crowd a history lesson on the American flag, and honored those who have served our country. Bugle player Dave Nelson says he hopes people walk away with a little bit more knowledge of American history, and a respect for the bugle. "Well, we want people to think about their past, a lot of them are going to be veterans, and we want them to have a little pride in some of the heritage of our country, maybe be inspired to keep some of those things alive which have been good for us. " This is the fourth year the group has played in the Twin Falls City Park. |
