A judge has ruled on a settlement in a case of toddler that died while at a Twin Falls day care.

According to court records, Fifth District Judge Richard Bevan ruled the family of the toddler should get a little more than $1 Million in a default settlement.

The suit was filed against defendant’s Gloria Galan and Julio Silva, the owners of Happy Feet Day Care.

Records indicate the toddler died of asphyxiation while being cared for at the day care.

The settlement went to both parents and two other children.
