Winter Savings

Southern Idaho

With the economy in its current state and many families struggling here are some cost effective ways to save on your energy bill.
According to South Central Community Action Partnership officials – you can save money by lowering your thermostat at night and when you aren't at home.
Also – run only full loads in your dishwasher and clothes washers.
Set your refrigerator between 37 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
And keep the fridge well stocked as it takes more energy to cool an empty fridge.
Officials say to weather-strip around your doors and windows and where you feel draft.
