In addition to serving as a historical record of the project, the cameras also will give people the opportunity to watch some of the least visible portions of the bridge project over the next few months.

An Idaho Transportation Department web site offers two angles of the work from both the north and south, and the pictures are updated every 15 minutes during the day.

ITD Engineer Kimbol Allen says it will give the public a chance to literally watch the bridge rise from the floor of Rock Creek Canyon.
