The issue of transportation has been a hot topic in southern Idaho for quite awhile. Wednesday the governor's Transportation Task-Force met for the 3rd time, to try and figure out how to solve Idaho’s transportation problems.

One of the biggest problems is financing, which put millions of dollars of projects on hold. So the task force is looking at non traditional solutions, while still trying to distribute money fairly for all Idahoans.

Sen. John McGee, (R) Caldwell says, "We may not ever solve the transportation problem we have in the state, but I think I can better it. By bettering the transportation problem, we better the economy, the better the air shed in the Treasure Valley, so there are a lot of good things that come with a better transportation system."

McGee says the task force will create a report for the 2010 legislative session. They're not yet releasing specific ideas on how to help fix Idaho’s transportation
