We are halfway through the school year and still motorists are using bike lanes to pick up and drop off students. Even at the busiest times of the day, if you park in the lanes, you're still in violation of the law.
No parking means *NO* parking; it is just before 3 p.m. and parents and guardians are waiting for children in the bike lanes.
As Staff Sergeant Dennis Pullin with Twin Falls Police Department says, motorists who park in these lanes are breaking the law and more importantly pose a safety risk for children.
