Members of Idaho’s congressional delegation say they are working to ensure Baptist missionaries being detained in Haiti on child kidnapping charges, have access to legal help and medical attention.

Of the 10 Americans, eight are from Idaho; in a statement Thursday, Republican Senators Mike Crapo and James Risch, along with Democratic Representative Walt Minnick, and Republican Representative Mike Simpson, said they hope the matter will resolve quickly.
