Two people are in custody today after police discovered a meth lab in their house.

Nathaniel Thomas, 25, is charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, and felony injury to a child.
Whitney Thomas, 23, is also charged with possession, frequenting and injury to a child.

Last night, on Alderwood Avenue in twin falls, police performed a check-up on Nathaniel, who was on a misdemeanor probation, and discovered the meth lab.

Idaho State Police, the Twin Falls Sheriff's Department, the Twin Falls Fire Department, and a regional hazmat team, were on the scene.

A hazmat team from Utah also arrived to dispose of the chemicals.
Police say there was a 2 year old child in the house - resulting in the 'injury to a child' charges.
