Twin Falls man held in Elko jail for allegedly assaulting fiancee

A Twin Falls man was bound over to district court in Elko, Nevada on battery and assault charges against his fiancée.

Jesse Andrew Meyer, 22, faces battery with intent to kill, battery with deadly weapon by strangulation, two counts of battery by strangulation and assault with a deadly weapon.

Counts two, three and four are all in alternative to count one.

Meyer was arrested January 13th after an incident occurring at Barton's Club 93 in Jackpot where court records show he allegedly choked his fiancée and held a knife to her throat.

Meyer is currently being held in the Elko County Jail and his bail is set at 55-thousand dollars.

No hearing has been scheduled as of yet.
