Road construction on Washington Street North in Twin Falls is causing plenty of drivers to find other streets to drive on.

Twin Falls Police have received several complaints about motorists driving too fast in nearby residential areas.

The police have stepped up patrols in these neighborhoods and are encouraging drivers to remember that the un-posted maximum speed limit is 25 miles per hour on residential streets.

The Twin Falls Police are also asking you to be more cautious when driving on these narrower streets, especially where there may be children at risk from the increased traffic.
