Experimental plane flips shortly after touchdown at Magic Valley Airport

Shortly after 11 a.m. Monday, emergency crews responded to a plane that flipped over at the Magic Valley Airport.
According to Airport Manager Bill Carberry the single engine experimental plane went off the runway shortly after it touched down.
It flipped over in the runway safe zone. The pilot Richard Migas of Washington was out of the plane when emergency crews arrived.
He was taken to Saint Luke’s Magic Valley with what appeared to be a laceration to the head. A
Airport emergency crews responded within 2 minutes of the crash; the runway was closed down for about 2 hours.
A SkyWest flight had to be turned back to Salt Lake City as a result of the crash.
