Twin Falls County Sheriff's Department officers are assisting Owyhee County Sheriff's Deputies in their search for Grand View man reported missing since March 9.

Ted Thomason, 66, was reportedly driving from his home to mountain home and has not been seen since. Owyhee County officers believe he may be suffering from dementia and may appear confused.

Searching teams found Thomason's white ford pickup truck Tuesday, in the Shoshone Basin in the southern portion of Twin Falls County, east of Salmon Falls Creek.

Thomason is a white male, bald, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 225 pounds, according to an Owyhee County press release.

He was also traveling with a blue heeler hound dog.

Any information on this case can be given to Owyhee County Sheriff's Office at 495-1154.
